The Power Workers are a very democratic union and doesn't end when you retire.
The Power Workers' Union continues to represent you after you've retired — on issues like pensions and benefits or on Workers Compensation matters that may arise after your retirement.
The PWU Retirees' Chapter is your "bargaining unit". The Retirees' Chapter has a seat on the Union's Executive Board. It helps make sure that retired Power Workers are informed of any issues that might affect them — and of the action the Union is taking to protect their interests. It also helps make
sure that retired Power Workers have a voice in any union actions that might affect them.
More than that, the Retirees' Chapter is a way of making sure that the Power Workers continue to have access to your advice and experience even after you've retired.
If you're a retired Power Worker and you're not already active in the Retirees' Chapter, use the form here to receive more
information.
