Assessor – Civil
Job Overview:
Assessors plan operating and shutdown work orders, work requests and maintenance work. They produce detailed work plans and instructions, assemble data for work activities, prepare reports and history records, order material and evaluate the work environment to determine which support programs are required.
Assessors must understand and be familiar with the nuclear plant equipment and nuclear procedures and policies.
The Assessor – Civil base hourly rate is approximately $56.00 per hour. In addition to the hourly wage, there is 10% Vacation and Statutory Holiday Pay, Extended Health Benefits Plan and a self-directed RRSP Retirement Fund.
To meet the challenges of this dynamic opportunity, you must have:
- Scaffolding and/or Insulator and/or Building Mechanic certification (or equivalent).
- A minimum 15 years’ working a Nuclear Generation Station as a Civil Maintainer 1 (or equivalent).
