Job Overview:

Information Technology Technicians perform deskside services including the installation, maintenance and repair work on computer equipment (including microcomputers, computer terminals, communications equipment, local area network, equipment and peripherals). They perform troubleshooting activities and carry out equipment modifications as necessary. They maintain a parts inventory and deliver informal presentations to staff. They also run recovery procedures on damaged volumes, files or documents and perform administrative activities to maintain efficient day to day system operation.

Help Desk Agents perform computer diagnostics and resolve technical issues from a Help Desk.  Contacts from clients will be via phone, Email, Web Chat incident management tickets. They will perform troubleshooting activities and carry out software/OS modifications as necessary. Responsible for accurately reporting the interactions with the client and providing superior customer service at all times.

To meet the challenges of this dynamic opportunity, you must have:

  • Completed 2 year diploma Information Technology/Computer Studies (or equivalent)
